Actually it's pretty decent wood to work with, I should take a better camera out there and get better picts. to post here, as lately I've just been using my cell for pict. taking.
I'll try to remember to do that!

I've haven't dealt much with the wood (other than when burning it for firewood after helping a neighbor clean up a blowdown - BTW, it stinks as firewood compared to other options we have around here). I know they are a pain in the neck to have growing in your yard: they are constantly shedding branches, and occasionally large limbs. Don't plant one near anything valuable.
What does the wood look like when finished?
