JD 855 60"MMM Deck belt cover - in search of

Hey everyone,

I'm in search of the right side belt cover for the 60" mid-mount mower deck. I've run a power flow unit, with a JRCO trailer, for years and my cover has disappeared. Does anyone know where I could find one, besides the dealer? I've done online searches for salvage businesses without any luck. eBay doesn't have anything either. I'm located in Central Minnesota.

You try craigs-list around here there are a few guys selling small tractor parts ,decks,seats, etc. Maybe somebody near you is....

One more idea if you know what it looks like make one out of cardboard or paperboard fit it on the mower then have a welding copy it out of steel.........

That's not the exact mower deck that I have. My local dealer quoted me a price around $160.00 today. Good idea to try the cardboard route. It would be easy to make that bend, and then shape the rest of it. Thanks Beenthere and Peter 315.

I leave the shields off as easier to blow clean after each use, and keep dry so no rusting. Only downside that I can witness is an occasional stick flips into that area and flips off a belt.. rare but it happens.

But if getting ready to sell, good to have it complete.
