Not much to do other than the above, or use a small drill bit turned by your fingers. Just tape it to the next time. I broke a big toe thirty years ago trying to get a cantankerous dirt bike to start, jumped on the Kickstarter good and hard, and snagged it on the footpeg. It has arthritis in it something terrible.Ouch. Heat a large sewing needle to red hot and poke a hole in your nail to let the blood out. It will relieve the pressure and pain.
I was wearing heavy boots, I hate to think of the outcome had I been in flip-flops.
