i have usen hot tube in north idaho winters for 27 years....love it. nothing like soaking in 102 water when its blowing snow outside. mind you my tub in under cover from my patio.
:thumbsup::thumbsup:I have sore shoulders every morning. Standing is a hot shower really helps - if it gets too bad. I know a hot tub would help. But - the initial cost, upkeep and everything else. I'll stay with hot showers. Also - I have a very heavy duty hooded sweat shirt. Throw it in the dryer for five minuets - instant relief. Light Polar Tec jacket under a hot sweat shirt - I'm OK for the remainder of the morning.
How do we know that this just isn't a selfie? Looks like parts of SW WA.
I have had three hot tubs over the course of 35+ years. Love them all year around and sadly currently going without. I think the key is to locate very close to your master bedroom so you can easily slip in/out. Our location is on a private deck and only a couple steps from a sliding glass door to our bedroom. I use it at about 3 times times a week usually just before bed but sometimes earlier to soak off some aches. It sure helps me sleep! Winter is great time too... even in the snow.
In fact, we are in the market for a new one as I had to finally get rid of the old one that was here when we bought the place 12 years ago. Our problem is the delivery and placement. I had to cut it up into pieces and throw it over the railing and haul it away. The new one will probably have to be placed using a boom truck over the house!
Funny... here's the thang. Code is now 4 wire and I got 3 coming from the 50amp fuse. Looks like another wiring job that I WILL NOT post here! :laughing:Make sure it's properly GROUNDED...................
