MS. tried to enter it in my profile but wasn't able to.

they might be trying to make sure your State allows you to purchase a magazine of the size you are looking for, which the FFL Dealer would know, also, if it's a magazine for a fully automatic machine gun, you'd have to get that from an FFL Dealer anyway..
Last time I ordered magazines was from Brownell's. They had a sale on both the Magpul AR-15 mags and the good quality mil-spec M1A-M14 mags. Other than asking for my shipping information (in order to ship them), I don't recall them asking anything about an FFL dealer.
And in the example of both of those magazines, there is zero difference between the magazines going in semi-auto rifles or full-auto rifles. The magazines don't know the difference.
Here in idaho....all stores carry any type you want. On shelves. A month ago the isles of my favorite gun store was jammed full of crates of ammo. Good prices on bulk ammo. I didn’t need any. Still don’t, but those inventory are history. **** that Facebook and all the prepers.
None needed here in KY. Governor cant even shut down the gun stores due to law.
Try Ky Gun Co, Centerfire Systems, or Buds Gun Shop. All are KY stores that are a breeze to deal with.
