"The curve"?? A table that "dies out"??
I always hated the branch of math called probability that deals with randomness and odds. It always seemed too much like philosophy or religion, and hard to prove unless you roll dice for eternity...but the one thing I did learn, is the odds don't change based on past occurrences*. If you flip a coin 9 times and get heads every time, the odds of heads on the next flip is still 50/50.....so I don't know what you mean the "the curve".
*: It always drives me nuts when sports broadcasters says something like (say) "Green Bay is a favorite because they haven't lost a post-season home game in 25 years" - huh?? What does the 1995 team have to do with the 2020 team? Weird.
