Sole Branson dealer in Australia gone bust

You might try contacting a TYM Dealer in Australia. That's the corporation that swallowed up Branson.

TYM bought Kukje and it's just 30% of it.

Branson still works as pretty much a standalone company.

Well, it's not even standing alone in Australia anymore.

no they didn't, this is a common misconception about what TYM actually purchased.
They only thing TYM purchased from Branson Was a few of the manufacturing lines from the plan that makes parts for Branson that is it, they don't own branson in any way other than they purchased into the manufacturing lines so they can get parts made cheaper and faster for their own equipment.

Just heard from another member that Midway Sales Australia (the sole importer of Branson) has gone bust. Midways web site says 'closed for business' and gives a number for service contact...no other info provided by them...where do we stand now with Branson warranty, spare parts etc?

Update, they seem to have rebirthed as Brismac https://brismac.com.au/

iirc in the US the yard equipment company " Bad Boy" has picked up distribution of the Branson Tractor line . Realize that is of little benefit to those folks down under.
Tong Yang the South Korean manufacture builds tractor and equipment to spec for at least 1/2 a dozen popular brand names.

In my experience and conversation with a few local Branson dealers, they are pretty easy to start up a company with, but very dificult to provide warrantee and parts to support that dealership. They lost the dealer that I bought mine from because they allowed people to open dealerships just a few miles away from his and he only found out when they came to him for warrantee work. Over and over again, a new Branson dealer pops up, then a few years later, is gone. Sometimes they change over to Mahindra and LS or some other brand and last awhile longer.

This mob had the sole agency in Australia so all the customers here are equally stuffed by the action and disregard shown by Branson.

Probably going to see a LOT more dealers for SCUT/CUT tractors "go under" here in the USA, and not just Branson either.
I think it likely Rural King may decide, that tractor sales have become a high inventory cost, low profit item, that is now a bad idea.
Hope not!
In times of financial stress though, businesses often do pull back to their core business philosophy.

First rental outfit has gone bust here in MN. I see all of their equipment on one of the auction sites that I frequent.

Sadly Branson seems to have wiped its hands of customers in Australia. They said the warranty was offered by the dealer not Branson (even though it was sold as a factory warranty). The new company, Brismac, is in the name of the former director of Midway's wife so seems very suspect and could be just to avoid warranty and debtors...the new company won't honour warranty on the tractors they sold, up until March 2020, under the Midway trading name.
