Now I'm told the driveshaft is no longer being made anyone got any suggestions? Pretty sorry not to have parts for tractors that are only 16 years old I guess they didn't expect the to last that long.

Have you got a picture of the shaft you are talking about?
You could investigate having one built for you.

Or check for used;

Thanks for the reply. I have put in a call to a place Alabama haven't heard back yet for a used one. There is a drive train machine shop about 45 miles away I can get one built. This tractor only has 153 hrs. on it pretty sad.
