Finally getting to use my macro lens for insects and flowers now that the warm weather is here.
Some of the shots I took yesterday afternoon.
That little orchard spider was MAYBE 1/8" long.
I didn't even notice the little red bug on the purple flower when I was taking the shot.

They have a very unique sound, don't they. I hear them way before I see them spring and fall.

bullbreaker - that young fellow has a very nice largemouth. I have large & small mouth in my lake. Nothing quite that big - I don't think. However - big enough so that all baby ducks are in serious jeopardy. Rarely do they venture out beyond the cattails, into open water, until they are able to fly.
