It's so funny folks actually think that was the way it was back then in the west etc...in reality more people died of tooth infections and disease than bullet wounds and hangings...and the naivety doesn't stop there...people actually think that shows like sopranos was a real depiction... :laughing:
I'm sure that has always been true everywhere.
Still, a lot of people met untimely deaths. Read about Pioche, Nevada when you have some time. Supposedly 70 people died in gunfights before the first "natural" death. I spend a lot of time wandering the Nevada outback and like to check out the headstones that are still readable. Some of them even tell how many bullets it took to kill the person!
