40 yards of fill and a bunch of grading for a customer today. Found a really good supplier for fill, only one step below top soil.

Just mowing over here, nothing much else. I tied a paracord to the deflector, can now raise the stupid thing up while mowing when I need it out of the way to get in someplace. I made a loop in the cord so I could pin it up as well.

I’m amazed, 120 cubic yards delivered in the last few weeks, it is a bit gummy until spread and dry, but zero trash almost zero rock. Comes from NJ and is certified clean fill.

I had a guy drop of 80 cu yards of fill, used it to backfill damage from muskrats around my pond. It was basically all clay, but that worked in my favor for the intended application. Plus, it was free...he was digging out a foundation for a new home, was just looking to get rid of it. Free delivery as well.

He was elated. Old timer. He had two huge pines and a bunch of forsythia removed.

The last job I posted was his neighbor. He hit me up while I was doing that one. Good dude, retired Bethlehem Steel engineer.
