For example in the context of this discussion, let's take a OWTM typical YT video:

- 15 minute video with a third to two thirds with him talking to the camera. If I open a video about tractors, guns, knives, cooking or machining work - I want to see a video spending the vast majority of the time on tractors, guns, knives, cooking or machining work. That's the whole point of a video. NOT someone's face from forking 6" away. That's just plain old rude and revolting. (Hannah the Noodler is an obvious exception here).

- It's pretty **** hypocritical for Morgan to put his wife front and center of the previews and videos with the obvious attempt at getting better views/subs/$$$ and then come on here and complain when someone makes a comment about his wife. The comment itself was rude and uncalled for. But anybody with a half a brain could have seen it coming from 5 miles away. My guess is that the views/subs/$$$ clouded his vision.

Another term for false advertising is "lack of ethics" or "lack of integrity".

Want to see a YT video with high integrity? Simple: Watch one of Andrew Camarata's videos. What do you see: 20-30 second intro (here's the job at hand...let's get started), 15-30 minutes of action doing what he does best getting stuff done, then a short epilogue where he shows the results of him getting stuff done. Do you see him using a selfie-stick from 6" away. Nope. Ten minutes of useless verbal diarieha(sp) out of a 15 minute video? Nope.

My bet is that now that Morgan sees that TBN isn't going to be safe haven from critical comments, unlike his YT channel where he can limit comments from only his fanbois, he won't be spending much time here.

As far as I'm concerned there are only two possibilities here. A. You have some real issues that you need to work through, or B. Your jealous of me for some reason. Based on the available information here it has to be one or the other or maybe a combination of the two. Why else would you get so worked up and spend the time you do bashing someone that you don't know, never met, and they never did a thing to you? Good luck and hope you get the help you need

I am a subscriber and have been since video #90? I too enjoyed the beginning videos better than current ones however, I still get something out of the current episodes. When I first started following OWTM it seemed that Mike was like me just trying to make some improvements and up keep his property.

I watched the videos and picked up tips and tricks from Mike. When the RK deal came through for OWTM, I expected infomercials but was pleasantly surprised. I found the videos still had some tips and tricks for me to pickup on.

I do not find as much in the way of tips or examples of similar experiences anymore but my improvements on my property is still the same and OWTM needs have grown and changed. I don’t feel betrayed or unfriended. Mike put helpful info out there and I took advantage of it and absorbed all I could. It costs me nothing but a click of a button or two. If OWTM made a few cents off me pushing a few buttons, then good for them.

I would not hesitate to host Mike and Melissa if they were ever in the Central MS area. I would shake Mikes hand and thank him for the info and advice through video that he gave me when he was working that Kubota and building a log carrier out of a 3pt carry-all.

I find it disrespectful for the comments made on here about Melissa. I’ve been married 33 years and would not want these type of statements made of my wife, especially on a public forum. However, as with several other forums that I participate in there’s always someone that makes my mom’s word ring true; “Fools names are like fools faces, always stuck in public places”.

Yeah...the next episode should be titled, “The Best Oil For Your Tractor”. Seriously, no celebrity, big or small, ever wins a pissing match with their audience. Its just not a good look for the brand. Elon Musk comes to mind.

Snotty Reply? Hold on there Mr Grumpy, apparently you suffer from from memory loss along with all your other obvious issues. It was you, not me that felt it was ok to start bashing me, you called me rude, revolting, a liar, accused me of false advertising, lack of ethics, lack of integrity and on an on totally unprovoked and what you think I should thank you and bake you a cake? Lol, yeah thats not going to happen. Heres the deal, I have seen your kind before, hundreds of times over the years, lame, useless, pointless, made up comments about me or my family in a pathetic attempt to try and bring me down because you think it will somehow lift you up from your misery. I agree, Usually I do pretty good ignoring the haters and trolls but occasionally i feel the need to fight back a little, this all started on mothers day, I was thinking about my wife, all she has done over the years, working hard, always smiling, raising our kids, taking care of our oldest son with autism, she is just perfect then I read a nasty comment from sawyer rob about her and said ok, gloves off.

Sometimes it's almost impossible to ignore some of the comments, specially when it attacks directly someone's family.

Some people just tend to reach the highest levels of stupidity while sitting behind a keyboard. These are same people that for some reason tend to care more about everyone's else money more than theirs. Which I really don't understand why. Probably just over compensating for lack of something.

I actually regret starting the topic. I was excited to see the Kubota coming back to the Morgan's channel because that is how I discovered their channel when I was tractor shopping. Never meant for this to turn into a bashing session or anything like that. I enjoy watching the channel, I prefer more tractor than wood cutting, but I have learned from watching Mike take down trees and it has helped me with some of the recommendations he has made and improved my tree cutting skills since I do a LOT less cutting than he does. I'm looking forward to see how the MX will perform.

If his wife wants to be on video, great. If his kids want to be on video, great. He has to keep the dogs on the video though, otherwise my Great Dane would get upset, she jumps up and runs to the TV every time the dogs come running across the screen.

My final comment, I don't know Mike personally, only through watching his videos. What speaks to me more about his character is the way he deals with his son. He loves that boy (along with all his kids), but the time and effort and the commitment he has made, you can tell Hunter loves his parents and they love him. That speaks more to me about his character than anything else. So he makes a few bucks promoting an item here are there, the love for his family and the passion for his hobbies are awesome and that is why the wife and I watch the channel.
