I subscribe to Scotty kilmer's (??) car repair channel and he just hit 1 billion views. I was not impressed until he mentioned in that video that he gets about 7 cents per view (or per like, I can't remember). That's some serious dough if its per view. If I were photogenic (I am not), had a great voice ( I do not), or at least had something meaningful to say on a regular basis (also a big no), I'd give Youtube a shot.

I'm glad the Morgans and all the other Youtubers are doing what they are doing and you all should be glad that I'm not on Youtube! BTW - Can I get paid for NOT having a Youtube channel?

I kind of like SCOTTY but find him difficult to listen too. Fifty something years of repairing vehicles, but he aludes to doing it at least recently in that full-packed residential looking garage. So, does he repair all those vehicles in his driveway?

Yeah - I'm no neat freak but that garage and the outside tool bench are just gross. His love of Ford and hatred of GM and Chrysler gets a bit old too. But I like him. He is funny without being a jerk.

Looks almost like my garage and workshop, but I don't tell people I ever get anything done. Where DOES he work on all those vehicles he speaks of having worked on?

His Video Titles are a bit misleading too (just hooks) and maybe that annoys me the most.

Look at married couple Exoman 126K subs or his wife Banshee Moon 638K subs. I find with many YT videos it's the ball busting comments that are the real entertainment.
