Wife and I watched Hangman last night. Al Pacino and Karl Urban. Had never heard of it. Pretty good movie.

"Yesterday" (2019). A guy finds himself on an alternate Earth which has never heard of The Beatles. He becomes the greatest songwriter on Earth by remembering Beatles songs. Especially good because Himesh Patel doesn't lipsync, really sings on camera. Does an excellent job singing Beatles songs without being an exact mimic. Performance is on par with Rami Malek in "Bohemian Rhapsody" (2018)

Looking for something we hadn't seen I did some searching for "the best movies you've likely never seen"...and I came across 'U Turn'
It's a '97' film by Oliver Stone with a great ensemble cast...it may not be for everyone but we found it quite entertaining...
Jon Voight and Bill Bob Thorton are exceptionally good...

I saw that back when. Only remember bits of it but I remember thinking it was a decent movie.

Saw a really great movie this evening; it's entitled "Somewhere in Time". A story about a man who goes back in time to meet the love of his life. It's a bit of a fantasy, but well played. Christoper Reeves stars with one of the most beautiful women ever...Jane Seymour.

Just came in from putting up a temporary fence and El Dorado is on. Forgot what I was gonna do as I stood there and watched for a good ten minutes or so. And I've seen it probably 40 or 50 times.

My god we seem to live in a world where no one cares that there are no movies worth watching beig made any more. But then, we don't seem to care about a lot of stuff that "should" matter. So lack of any good movies is the least of it, I guess.

The last movie we saw in a theater was Knives Out. I enjoyed it.
Was looking forward to the latest James Bond movie. Release got delayed due to that thing whose name shall not be mentioned.
Hard to believe, but the Lego Movie is 6 years old already. I laughed hard! Lego Batman was hilarious as well.
Highwaymen last year with Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson was very good as well.

Considering the fact that we are in the 21st century and there are really only seven actual story plots known to man...I think there are still some interesting adaptations out there...you just have to be "industrious" enough to find them...!
But then again when you don't believe actual facts that are obvious and all you believe is conspiracy theories what's the point...??
