My god we seem to live in a world where no one cares that there are no movies worth watching beig made any more. But then, we don't seem to care about a lot of stuff that "should" matter. So lack of any good movies is the least of it, I guess.
Maybe for you.
The last movie we saw in a theater was Knives Out. I enjoyed it.
Was looking forward to the latest James Bond movie. Release got delayed due to that thing whose name shall not be mentioned.
Hard to believe, but the Lego Movie is 6 years old already. I laughed hard! Lego Batman was hilarious as well.
Highwaymen last year with Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson was very good as well.
2007 No Country for Old Men
Seems to me that there may be a few of the newer movies worth watching, but for the most part the genre of today's movies...and comedy also...has somehow left me behind. I can't think of the last Really great movie...in the class of GWTW... I have seen; it certainly hasn't been in the last few years. "Toy Story" comes as close as any. The last movie I recall going to in a theater was "Book Club". The ladies may have liked it, but to me it was so-so; certainly not as entertaining as the Sunday funnies and a bottle of Jackie D.
