^^^ It does not look like your chains chip your concrete? Or do they?

Thats one over looked down-fall of needing tire chains on tractors. If drive straight in and straight out, very little marking, but if holding stirring brake, lot of marking and chipping. The first year of new floor I put down boards but got tied of that real quick, now I just ease in and ease out and live with it, for me it's to much work trying to keep something new.

I lust leave scrap plywood on the floor of the tractor bay near the door to protect it. Since I only have rear chains, it doesn't take much. Of course, the tractor hasn't been in there much lately - the junk expanded into the tractor's space.

Right now my 26x36 garage is packed, theres no room for my tractor and I have to change this weekend, then the upstairs my wife has that mostly filled up with junk, glad she's not on here.

My garage is 26 X 28. Still can get the 5' wide L3010 tractor in but there is only 2" to spare all around. I have an 8' piece of plywood cross-wise on the floor for chain protection. Every once in a while the chains grab the plywood and skid it out from under. All the stuff piled on the sides comes crashing down. There must be a flaw in human nature that we do stuff like this.
