You know how it is; look online for attachments and find great deals just none local to you. How does this sound to those who might know?

Local Kubota dealer pricing for a new Land Pride RBT3596 rear blade, full hydraulics including tailwheel: $4000 plus freight ($300 guess) or no freight if I can wait on the next truck.

The tailwheel suggested retail is $940, I didn't have him break it out separate but based on other suggested retail $$ I'd say it's at least $600-$700 of the $4k.

Anyone have first hand knowledge of the pricing for these? Does this seem reasonable?

That's about $165 more than EA's landshark optioned exactly the same.

Sounds a little high, I just purchased from our local Kubota dealer a land pride 3796 landscape rake with 1 hyd angle kit for 2350.00. The dual tail wheels would of been another 550.00 I believe. How many hyd cylinders with the full hydraulic option? 2 or is it 3? My single hyd kit was 350.00 of the 2350.00. I believe the base price for a 96 in Back Blade was 1900.00. Hope that helps, B

I paid just under $3800 in Feb 2019 (not enough under for lunch). It includes the tail wheel, all 4 cylinders and hoses. It does not include the cushion valves. I chose to wait for the truck so no shipping charges and I have an ag sales tax exemption, so no sales tax on it. I priced equivalent blades at other dealers, this was by far and away the best price on any of them.

BTW - My tractor comes in at 55 HP and ~6500# with the loader on and I have to be careful about taking to big of a bite or it will stall the tractor even in 4 wheel mode. If the stars align I can cut the ground and fill the blade and keep it full. I would not try to pull the blade with a smaller tractor.

Five years ago I purchased a Rhino rear blade. It's 96" wide & 1010#. It cost $3275 and is manual. Full hydraulics would have been $1000 more. View attachment 658323

Thanks for the replies, sounds like the price isn't out of line. I have no choice but to wait, Land Pride isn't restarting production until late July! I guess I'll be looking at other brands for a few weeks, or maybe I'll get lucky and find a good one used.

Seven Gables, three cylinders for the blade and another for the wheel. Suggested retail for just the blade was something like $2600, I'm guessing it could be purchased for a few hundred less at most. All told, suggested retail for everything was just north of $4600, no tax, no freight.

3Ts, I too have an ag tax exemption. I also have a lot of experience stopping tractors with big blades, lol. That's one reason I want the tailwheel, to mitigate some of the biting. Skid shoes have never worked for me like I wish.

oosik, I looked hard at the Rhino blades when I purchased my Bush hog 176-10 a few years back. Those are some heavy blades. I'd buy a Rhino in a heartbeat if I could find the right one.

About a century ago - I gave up looking for used implements. There just aren't any, of the size normally needed, in this part of the country. I initially had a Land Pride 2596. It worked GREAT for snow removal on my mile long driveway. However - without shanks & weighing around 820# it just was not heavy enough when my driveway turns to concrete in the summer.

I thought about adding weight to the 2596 but was concerned that the frame was not designed for this.

The Rhino @ 1010# will cut thru my rock hard driveway and assist in the annual repairs.

Ha, ha - we haven't had enough snow accumulation to need the driveway plowed for the last three years.

Even with the heavy Rhino - if I need to do extended repairs - I go to my LPGS. It has scarifiers. Scarify about two inches deep - blade to move material and repair.

Other than the weight of the LP rear blade - I never had a moments problem. I sold it three years ago - got 85% return on the initial price.

At $4000 - 4600 you are in a price range where used small bulldozer may be a decent alternative for some of you?

That's about what I paid for mine 20 year ago.

A crawler loader or dozer ......NEVER NEVER again!
Had one, once upon a time!
Nice to use,...... but a total money pit!
Maybe, just maybe,...a brand new one would be ok!

I hear you, however over the last 20 years my experience with JD 440 ICD regarding the cost has been completely opposite of yours!
