massey injector pump

Hi i have a massey fergason 50A, backhoe, motor has been rebuilt and new injector pump put on has only done 30 hours since work was done and run very well was left for about 12 months and now cant get fuel to injectors have put high volume electric pump on and tapped on end of injector pump but still cant get fuel to injectors,every thing is turning so it must be in pump ,has anyone had this problem Thank you

Has anyone had this problem.?? LOL.. THATS funny.. Only 5 million people had this problem..
It could be somethng simple as a stuck metering valve.. or indepth as stuck pumping plungers..
When the machine was shut down, was the shut off cable pulled & LEFT IN THAT position.?? THATS A BIG NO-NO..
ALWAYS push it to the RUN position & shut off the fuel AT THE TANK..
Before u lift the top cover ur gonna need a "mini kit" to reseal the top cover.. just Google "cav top cover leak"
they sell them on ebay for 9-15.00 w/ free shipping..
If u find its stuck pumping plungers & NOT just a stuck MV.. the pump has to come off & disassembled..

Hi thanks for that the shutoff lever was definately closed and i thought the tapping the end of the pump while trying to start would free them ,is there any diagrams on net to show metering valve Thanks again
