I'm not at all surprised that it went away so quickly, especially with the help of steroids.

For some reason this year I have to wear a mask when I mow. If I don't, I get nasty coughing fits because pollen (?) gets my throat pissed off. I never had it this bad before.

Don't you find that it's hot? Years ago I was spreading grass seed coated with lime and tried to wear a mask because the lime was doing nasty things to my lungs. I ended up buying a painter's respirator because a basic dust mask was stifling.

Ok.... back with more craziness!
So I woke up Tuesday morning with 95% of the rash gone and feeling fine. Difference Tuesday was I cut mixed grass hay and some weeds today in the MF7495 and the Pottinger mower. Monday was M126X and field mower. Went to bed and woke up this morning covered in the rash again! Now one thing I need to mention was on Monday, I was given a prescription for 40mg of prednisone for 5 days. I also need to mention I called my dermatologist yesterday (Tuesday) and told her what happened. She told me NOT TO TAKE the oral steroid. She said the shot on Monday evening was more than enough especially since the rash cleared.
Ok, so this morning I wake up and Im covered in same places!!! . I called her and she now tells me in a video call to take the oral steroids. So I go to work today and it clears up.
WTF??? :confused2:
I feel perfectly fine now, rash 99% gone. 4 more days of steroid pills to go.

Sorry you got them, Mossy. Thought you only got them in childhood. Maybe you’re a 14 year old and been fooling us all this time as a big shot moderator

Obviously, it is still in your system and something is adding to it. How is that for internet help? lol.

While you are at it, with the first reaction, talk with your Doctors about using an EpiPen, or keep one on standby somewhere. Get some real medical advice on that.

That reaction....was pretty bad...and now that your on prescriptions and having a flair up...well...maybe go get some testing done. You might have just reached your point in life where what was tolerable before...is no longer the case.

Agree with what your saying, but the flare up occurred Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, when I didn’t take the prednisone (as instructed by the real doctor, my dermatologist). When I took it later on Wednesday morning, the flare up disappeared in a few hours.
I think my dermatologist kind of screwed up by telling me not to take the prednisone.
I’m clear this morning, so we will see what happens.

Had em when I was a kid. It was horrible. Apparently they went away after puberty.

Well, that would be a bummer. I eat an apple almost everyday, as well as a banana, a couple oranges, any other fruit we have around including berries, cherries, etc..., a bowl of granola with nuts, a hard boiled egg, a handful of pistachios or peanuts, 4-5 glasses of milk, 3-8 cookies, a snack cake, 4 pieces of dark chocolate, 1 bottle of pop, small portion of whatever's leftover from dinner for lunch or a PBJ sandwich, a cup of yogurt, then dinner, meat (fish, chicken, pork or beef), potatoes, carrots, cucumbers, cauliflower or broccoli, and whatever else I can get my hands on.... I guess if I ever develop a food allergy to something specific, I have some backup plans.

The peanut is deadly poison to me. I have had that particular allergy since birth. Every few years I test it, and it hasn't gone away.
