ive been using my Jimna 6 chipper since i purchased it for $1,200 new back in 2006.
the part i hate about it is the NON hydraulic feed. the mechanical feed has always been an issue. i have been looking at selling it and buying one of 3 different hydraulic feed units. Ive looked at the units from Quick Attach, Woodmaxx and Woodland mills.
ive contacted each and waiting to hear what shipping will run.
I watched the video on the woodland mills unit and i LOVE the clamshell design to access chipper blades. I just changed the blades on my Jimna and its a 3 hour ordeal. Mind you it cuts like new again, but its a chore.
