66 going to 81 and probably more rain.
I'll try again, Happy Birthday Ron!!! (Nothin' wrong with having a 2-day birthday at this point, right?) Great hummingbird pic...I was outside earlier hanging feeders and once again, one came up to feed before I could get it hung while others buzzed my like I was the Control Tower in Top Gun.
RS, thanks for the K-Pad info. I've also used Messick's and been very pleased with their service.
BEF, remarkable recovery on the GBS. By the way, you run into any traffic problems on your "commute" last night?
Thanks for your concerns for Coco. Many of you have dogs, so know how special they can be. We've been fighting a skin/hair loss issue since November...tested low for thyroid, so pills twice a day, and many antibiotics. It got better in March and by end of April was normal, but took a turn for the worse in May and went severe rapidly last weekend with sores and fever/loss of appetite. By taking her to the emergency vet, got some gabapentin for pain, and a referral to a great dermatologist, where she spent 3.5 hours yesterday. Many tests cultures and 5 biopsies/stitches. Using a different antibiotic and prednisone, like your dog, Kyle. Ear wash and drops. Something called "Magic Mouth" squirted in before eating. Stopped apoquel and the cefpodoxime she was on in case it is a reaction to these. Test results back in a week. She is getting canned food for the first time...boy did that perk up her appetite. Need to take her temp when she gets up - not pushing her. She'd normally be outside with me at dawn. I did get her reinterested in the frisbee and Dokken yesterday, but only at a jogging speed. Derm vet thinks auto-immune disorder.
Looking forward to getting her back to this...
