Adding a rear remote for flail mower

I have a front remote that gets used for grapple and plow.
I have hydraulics in the back for the detachable backhoe, but the backhoe controls are on the attachment itself.
I have a little switch that let's me redirect the hydraulics from front to back.
Can the front remote also control the back, or would I require a separate joystick/remote?

As long as you have a long enough pair of hoses and the right quick couplers on the hoses for the side shift
cylinder you should have no problems.

When I installed my 3rd function I T'eed and ran lines forward and back from the valve outputs so I could run either set from the thumb switch on my loader control. Somewhere here I have pictures of my install. Works great.

You may need to put restrictors on the flail's hydraulics if it doesn't have them already. Their cylinders are usually small. The full flow from the 3rd function will move it very fast if there's no restrictors.

Reviving this thread, as my (new to me) AGL145 ditch flail mower has 2 cylinders with separate connectors, and even if I reroute the front port to back via extensions, I still need another port.
Is it best to use front loader connectors for this? What happens to front loader then?
Alternatively, my other port can be one feeding backhoe, but controls would have to be added somehow.

Edit: upon further reading, I may need a 4 way control valve. Can I replace the grapple valve (2 way?) with a 4 way so I don't add another?

I am no hydraulics expert by any means. When someone says 4 way valve to me, I think of a loader joystick type valve. When what I think you would want would be a multi spool valve. You did specify, but I am guessing you current have a separate single spool valve for your grapple. If so you should be able to replace the single spool with a multiple spool valve and run additional lines for your remotes.
If you use a diverter valve for your grapple, I do not think you would be able to replace that for what I believe you want.

I simply can't stand this whatever "WAY" terminology. It is utterly meaningless. A switch, valve, or plug has four ports and they call it four way.

I am curious why a flail mower needs a remote. Sideshift???

Ditch mowers have
Sideshift and tilt to mow along stream/water banks.

Looking at AGL145 description it says

I thought it would be a joystic too, that's why I referenced loader control earlier (up/down, and tilt instead of roll)

I guess I should call the manufacturer, as I don't see this valve being sold on their site.

That's why I asked. I hsve a flail mower with no hydraulics and a ditch mower with a ton of hydraulics. But you said Flail Mower.
