2019 ford ranger review....

The all new US market Ranger is due out as a '22 model, and based on the new Bronco platform (which is set to be reveled Monday...). The new Bronco is rumored to have the 2.7EB as an option, so makes sense the new Ranger would as well. Having two 2.7EB F150's, I can tell you that will be a fun little truck! Hopefully it's not detuned for the smaller truck application...

How about a nat asperated 4 liter v6? these **** blown mouse traps are long term trouble, and you have to fight the turbo, pedal lag, and 10speed tranny to decide whos doing what to get the trailor up the hill.

My son has a new 10 speed turbo mousetrap. There’s no lag and it pulls and drives really great.
Long term- I’m sure it’ll be fine for as long as he wants to own it.

Except that is pretty much the polar opposite of my experience, and many thousands of others as well.

Some folks just don't play well with new tech. :confused3:

powersrp should actually drive a modern truck. On my F-150, if you don't look at the boost gauge you are hard pressed to know when the turbo comes on. And the gear indicator is really handy with the 10 speed trans because without it you don't really notice the shifts.

In just one day (one day 21 hours) they will be released. Yes "they", 3 different broncos.

Just hit 7K miles today my 2019 Ranger (23% left before oil change) !:checkeredflag:

My Ford ranger app predicts I will need an oil change in September.

Our F dealership said to change the oil at 5000 miles and disregard the onboard computer much longer suggestion. I liked that!

We agree with Kenny. The new rangers drive-line rocks in our book. We live among serious hills and the tranny shifts without us even noticing it and we get better fuel mileage than seems possible for all the power it has. We just got home from a trip towing our camper among those hills.
