I needed some stakes and to heck with buying PT stakes, I just decided to make some out of white oak!
and started milling out 1-1/2" thick slabs, that I turned up on edge to start taking stakes off,

When I got down to 6 inches, I quit because I had a pretty good pile of stakes, (of different thickness') SR

Stakes for what purpose?

Primarily, for use in the gardens...

Quite the garden, must be going to stake it down so it wont go nowhere.......

You found that while I was practicing my penmanship. Kubota 5' buckets in my manual. Raining - a good day to play. Should be straightening out garage.

Here is that page on my tractor, it has the LA724 loader on it. So a heaped bucket is about .48 of a yard.. they don't say how heaped though.

Another bucket colume, if anybody ever needs it; a 5 gallon pail holds .73 cubic feet; or 37 bucketfuls per yard.

I had to calculate that once, to ensure that I mixed the concrete properly for a slab.
