Empty space is like a vacuum, it always fills up.

That goes double when that space has a concrete floor and is heated,

Looking for a brand new (Habitat) light fixture that I stored for twenty years. I can find three out of four parts to it. I have looked so much and often that I'm starting to make up false memories that I "might" remember, having thrown that one part out.

Today I find what I was looking for yesterday, gave up and bought one.
Black holes were discovered years ago in space whole planets disappear into. I have little ones scattered around my garage.

The need to relieve one self can be directly proportional to the distance from an acceptable facility.

Define "acceptable facility." We got caught in a traffic jam while travelling through Massachusetts a few years before I got my prostrate repaired. It got to the point where I had to GO!, and was eying the trees lining the highway. Up here that's not a problem... down there it was one line of trees then houses.

The next trip I was in the back seat, heading to the other side of Buffalo NY, and had already asked to stop once so didn't want to ask again. I had a nice SS thermos... past tense because there's no way I was going to use it again after not being able to wash it properly for 2 weeks, after using it for my urinal.

LOL, you kept it for the last 10 years and finally heaved it.
2 days later it was just what you needed to complete that task job or whatever !
Never fails.

My situation is different,, I stored it for 10 years,, THEN,,
my SIL asks for it,, two days before I need it,, I ALWAYS give it to him,,,

THEN,, I need it, and gotta go buy it,,,

I save all sorts of stuff that I save "in case I ever need it", and when I finally do need it, I can't find it. The day after I buy a new one, the old thing I was saving reappears. Never fails.
