What do you need a pool for, when you have a nice bridge to dive off from?

Boy didn't summer go by fast this year or did September show up early, it's been in the low 70s past couple days I might need to find my sweater......

Must be nice. It’s been in the 90s here. I’ve had to pour concrete in it 2 days in a row. It’s months wait to get a first run truck so I had to start at 10.

Its not even 8 am and I've already been in the pool this morning, hot tub too!! What a great investment!

EDIT: Its now 11 am and I just climbed out of the pool again! What a great way to cool off and stop the sweat cycle!

The guys that pour concrete for a living keep the morning trucks booked full time. Since I’m not those guys a can’t just call down there and get a morning truck. They’ll bring all the noon concrete you want. For a footer it sucks to put down but it’s alright. You’d be in a real mess trying to do a floor in the heat.

Tell me about it, I poured my garage slab a few years ago in early August, it was about 90 -92 that day, it was me, the Mason who was 70-75ish and I hired college kid to help. We did a one piece pour, foundation walls and slab all at once. Poured walls from the first truck early morning no problem, but the second truck at 11am for the slab was a killer, it was setting up before we could
Get all the edges troweled smooth. It turned out good, we just had to keep on it in the heat.
