Ouch! Hate to hear of any of us having such accidents.
On your drawer and door handle need, do you have the space to router out a finger slot on the back of the drawer or doors where they contact the cabinet. Those should not snag.
It's slowing down my TBN activity too. Typing without a pointer finger sucks!

On the drawer pulls I ended up making an 'extrusion' that I chopped up to length and have extra material for additional 'pulls'. Imagine a woman's figure... that was my inspiration. :D

hmmm - a pear shape pull handle? oh! Maybe there are other shapes out there somewhere?

In 1986 I bought a Bosch sliding miter saw, single bevel. It was new on the market, Still have it, works fine. But 35 years is a long time to go without a new miter saw. Recently my wife decided we need new cedar siding on the three main buildings, so they all match. That is about 6500 lineal ft of siding and trim. I decided to get a new dual bevel miter saw for the job. Ended up with this lightweight (28 lb) Milwaukee 7 1/4" cordless. That is about half the weight of the Bosch - easy to shift around the buildings - and the dual bevel will be handy for siding joints. I looked at DeWalt and Makita cordless miter saws, they both have 7 1/4" models, but only the Milwaukee is dual bevel. Years ago I standardized on Makita cordless tools, never a problem, but now that I have a Milwaukee charger and batteries will have to look at their tools also. Anyway I set up the new saw in the shop today and was impressed with the build quality. Hopefully will still be impressed at the end of the siding job.

The springs on my ton truck were worn out so I took them off and bolted a heavier set it. The downside is it rides higher now. The plus side is no more sagging. IMG_8919.JPGIMG_8923.JPG

Well my better half finally finished making a cover for my stacked MIG and Plasma cutter sitting on a HF welding cart. At least she says she is done working on it! It's been a 2 year project and it only took a little needling at least by me. She did a lot of stitching to make it form fitting. I am extremely happy I have a great wife!

I love the ability to pull up the velcro flap and get to the drawers and also the opening in the top for the tank valve so I can easily check for 'off'.

Would I be pushing my luck if I asked her to make a personalized iron on logo for the cover? :stirthepot:
I'm thinking something like my Avatar!

You may have to buy her an embroidering attachment for her sewing machine.

And it her machine is not computerized, it will need replaced also.

You should be able to get her all set up for 5 grand or so.
