Whats the span on those 2x8x16's Get a little bounce in there? Whats the pitch on those rafters? I don't need much here as there is never a snow load.
I dont usually cut firewood in July because it's so hot but 70s is not bad. The wood does drag little harder on bare ground, I think 4 of these trip and I have 1 cord, for TN people that'll be 1 Rick.........

Looks like a standard 4/12 pitch, and hardly any ties up there..
It would take me a year just to mill up enough lumber just to build that thing.. nice building by the way..
So is that 4' out 12" down? I mostly went by eye, make a pattern and stick up there then look at it. I was over a year on, son help a lot, something like that is to hard for one person.
Uh not really, I always get kunfused on those pitch numbers, so a 12 12 pitch is 12" up and 12" out=45* angle, then my roof is 4" up and 12" out, right?4' up, and 12' out or ( 4" and 12"). but I'm sure you know that.

Yeah thats how I did the shed roof on my shooting platform.
Unfortunately pretty much everything I do is a one person job, over the years I've come up with ways to get stuff done by myself... roofs can be tricky..

That's way most the stuff I do now is, doing a 4 person job with only me myself and I, least theres 3 of us to get things almost done with bar-clamps and screws,
