Up at 3 to p
Then I was hungry, but no snickers.

Wife nixed the weather station , wanted to put the money towards new kitchen / dining flooring.
That will be a major pain to do. I want to remove the existing linoleum and 1/4” plywood it’s on, screw the subfloor good to get rid of squeezing, then put down new. Don’t know what I want. The kitchen cabinets sit on the linoleum, it was installed before cabinets, so I would have to cut around everything, or remove them. It’s a country kitchen.
I would like hardwood, wife is afraid it would be hard to keep clean. I don’t want the fake wood nor tile, so either hardwood or linoleum again.
I might consider the fake wood if it can handle getting wet. I used it upstairs over the garage and it was nice to put down, easy diy. Just concerned about water.
Need more sleep.

I got up about 2:30 for my nightly nature call, stayed awake for an hour and a half, slept for another hour and here I am. If I don’t go back to sleep quickly, then I start thinking and it’s all over.
Went to cardiologist yesterday, he seemed pretty satisfied. Got permission to lose the Plavix in a few days and go back to aspirin and keep the Eliquis. I figure that should help with bleeding and bruising.

I’m going to stay up and get my grass mowed early if all goes well. 96 predicted and it gets hot quick when start out at almost 80.

I hope all your aches and pains improve guys.
Drew let us know how it’s going.

God bless us all.

good morning all.
I'm in and I'm free...
a difficult day due to the heat for sure, 99 degrees out.
Got almost all the rv stuff loaded into car until it would fit no more.
Rest will come on Wednesday.

I wasn't in the motorhome three minutes, even before driving it out of friend's driveway, when I really wailed my forehead on leading edge
of kitchen cabinets, lined with knife sharp formica. Blood everywhere, three big gouges in me, looks pretty beat up now but will be ok. Positional
awareness issue but a bad design, needs either rounded corners or a cushioning strip. Due to compact size of motorhome, bottom edge of cabinets is
right at forehead level.

A/c could not cool down rv in that heat, never got below 84 while sun was out, not good. But hoped that overnight it would catch up and sure enough
it did, within two hours of sun going down, rv cooled off. Hope now that heat soak is out of it, a/c can handle it. Headed to Camping World this morning
and will pick up some exhaust vent insulator pads, which should help, and when sun comes out, will put cover on front windshield.

had problems getting in to TBN when I got here, password erased, and when I went to "forgot password" section, it wanted me to sign in as a new person.
However this morning seemed to get its brain back and new password assigned worked fine.

Dumpster is a close walk away and I have four bars on Verizon so that helps. Most of my neighbors are working folk, was told some were nurses.
very small place, but owner, who used to farm, is now doubling the size and I can see land clearing going on. That will make it a dusty place unfortunately. I asked him if he still farmed and he said there was no money in it, much better to "farm" rv sites. He's fully booked, just wish he would have some trees to get shade under. I have awning out, but have to remember to watch weather so it doesn't stay out in thunderstorms/high winds.

no milk for my coffee this morning but otherwise ok. Need to go to Food Lion after trip to rv place and stock up.
Back was very sore end of yesterday but ok today.
took a quick shower which felt good, will be better today when bathroom is cooler
very happy to go to sleep quietly without any PA announcement gongs

Ron hope you feel better

Well, Drew, those wounds won't make very good first impressions on your new trailer park friends, but I hope the worst is over and you're comfortably settled.

Maybe something like this would help with those sharp edges?

Coffee is done brewing. 58° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 84° with lots of sun. Conserve energy day worked good for ankle. No swelling this morning. Got a few rain sprinkles yesterday evening. Monitor shows .02". Got a few small projects to do outside this morning. Then back inside away from heat.
Could not find Sassy for awhile yesterday. She has found a new place to sleep during the day. Under dining table. I keep a stool for Kitchen Island under it. She does not need to worry about someone stepping on her there.

Drew, glad you got moved. One of the things I have learned with a RV. Is when it is hot inside RV. Open ceiling vents to let heat out. Does your RV have vent covers so then can be left open when it rains? Hope your head injury heals quickly.

RNG, My aunt was my guest. So neither of us went. Like your circle video. I need to try that with mine.

Buckeye, not sure why everyone wants to get rid of squeaks in the floor. I like the sound in my 80 year old house.

Don, since I already have a watch. Series 3. First message ask me to download APP to watch. Decided not to signup.

Randy, good news on Dr. visit.

Mostly, I take it you had a good fishing trip.

Kyle, I think you are stuck with Compressor King Torch.

Buppies, lots of work in the heat. Stay hydrated and sun protected.

LS, hope fan install went well.

David, glad no damage.

PJ, 42" is kind of small for that area. At time I think 60" is to small. Then I put the 72" MMM on tractor. To big for yard. But great for open fields.

Everyone be healthy and safe.

Good Morning All.

74 headed to 99...maybe triple digits.

I was up at 3am, too...Coco barking...Don this was a bark I needed to hear...she needed to go out real bad, as it turned out. I go out, too, armed and with a flashlight because of the critters running around at that time. Fortunately only saw a bunny.

Took advantage of indoors chores and coffee roasting yesterday to beat the 98F heat. I roasted one batch using a "recipe" from a fellow roaster who told me it would work spectacularly on a specific bean from Ethiopia that we each have...develop a "sweet fruit bomb" taste in the cup. Looking forward to trying it.

Try to stay cool and healthy.
