Research the Oggun tractor. That is what the man is doing. May be he will not die rich from it but he did not sit on his back side nitpicking someone else's idea.

As mama says, "If you ain't got something nice to say don't say nothin'".

That thing is kind of hilarious but I watched the videos and I was actually impressed by what it could do. It’s a purpose built machine for Cuban farmers (cheap, lightweight, serviceable), but might have a place on smaller US hobby farms. For me, the lack of an FEL is a dealbreaker but it’s more capable than it looks.

Nope. However, most TBN members don't farm.

Technically, I farm with mine. I have a USDA farm number, and a tree farm. Crop is due for harvest around 2060. :laughing:

With the rise in farmers markets and the demand for organic or low chemical use produce there is a demand for these special tractors. You will find Allis G models still in production. My neighbor a retired auto engineer operates 15 acres of farmers market produce. Claims to make more money off it than 75 other acres cash rented. Still using a G and implements that's been in the family since the 50s. (Also has 2 Kubotas)

I ws talking to one of the farmers that farms our place. 100 acres are going for a million bucks, and he says to carry that is twice the money of what the land brings in. Thanks to the speculators.

Well if you come down to it, All Kubotas made in Georgia would be considered American made, same with JD's made in Wisconsin or in Moline.

When I worked in automotive every domestic penny spent on producing the car got recorded towards domestic content. Along with direct manufacturing costs this included indirect manufacturing support costs, engineering, marketing and after sales support. Still difficult to get over 50% even recording all of these.

Maybe the made in USA designation has changed now but then it needed to be over 50% domestic content.
