Tractor
AGS
Hi all, just started looking at buying a tractor..not the one in the picture but just wondering if someone could tell me the name of the loader in this picture..or type? It looks perfect for my needs but all my searches for mini fel come back with the usual type. s-l1600 (3).jpg

Cheers.

It looks more like a plow mount conversion and it’s not a good loader. It sticks out to far.

I spotted another tractor in japan with a similar style loader on it..it had Kubota written on it and looked oem although i guess it could have been a nice looking conversion. found another one but the photo sucks. I don't need lots of height or weight capacity so the angle of the dangle is not such a issue for me. tokotractordbbdf8ac6b.jpg

Those are very common loaders for those mini tractors in the Asian market, where those tractors were used originally.

Can't help you with any manufacturers though. I suspect that those loaders are taken off when the tractors were imported to other countries, probably so they can squeeze more tractors into the containers.

There was a Shibaura with one of those loaders for sale not too far from me but didn't had any stickers with manufacturers info.

If you have the tools and skills, it wouldn't be too bad of a project.

Don't know exactly your needs but have you thought about a link box for the 3pt? Would that work for you?

It's basically a carry all box with the ability to dump from the seat but just pulling the handle of the latch mechanism. Some also have a cutting edge that you can scrape things and also load it by reversing into a pile of loose material. The tail gate can open up or flip down and extend the capacity.

This is mine. Bought it as a project as it needed new corners. All done, just needs a paint job now.

Wow, those 3rd party "stick on" loaders stuck way the heck out there with the whole pivot out ahead of the front axle sure would be a "light duty" thing. It would tend to land the tractor on its nose with about 100 lbs in the bucket! They might be OK for pickup up leaves feathers or MAYBE mulch. Sure wouldn't want any prying on the edges of the bucket either. With that center support. Pretty much bad news in a can if you ask me. BUT the good news, is I learned something today. Some Asian guy is actually kin to ole PT Barnum. :)

Yea, those are awful loaders.

k0ua, 4570Man - exactly what I was thinking. It won't take very much in that bucket before that little tractor will over on its nose.

I figured if I sat my fat self in that bucket, that the tractors rear tires would come off of the ground and the bucket would go to the ground. I couldn't think up a worse way to effect a FEL on a tractor if I tried.
