3-Point Hitch Do you know Brian Faulkner at Kioti - or his manager(s) ?

Erik glad to hear your up and running . One thing I would do ASAP before I attacked my work since your tractor has been so long there and away from its home is to check and " RE - TORQ MY LUG NUTS " on the rims front and back of course according to specs !!! ..................;)

Wouldn't that be the icing on the cake... Finally get the tractor home and the wheels fall off.

I'd worry more about fluid levels and any hydraulic fittings they touched.

Yep.... Course it wouldn't hurt to check other things. But I sure would check that hydraulic fluid for sure.

I don't know if I find it so horrible. Everyone seems to have had good reasons for what they did. Or if not good reasons, at least reasons that made sense to them at the time. It's certainly didn't go forward in a way that anyone would choose; how to avoid that is what I've learned from this thread. But the outcome seems OK.

There sure are a lot of of good lessons to be learned through Erik's experience.

I think nearly TWO MONTHS is a "horror story"!
You, apparently do not?

I am going to take a wild guess here, and guess that the dealer in question, was not a 5-paw dealer?
Actually they are a 5-paw dealer. So much for the certification process.

No, I don't. I don't like the troubles everyone had, and the way Erik dealt with it is sure a lot different from what I would have done.... but the endng is as much a part of the story as the beginning and middle. The OP is satisfied, the bill seems fair, and we all learned a lot.

I taught I saw a drone.... all is well! Tractor and more importantly the 3 pt hitch with Woods Brush Bull BB720x is holding and NOT jumping! Yay. All is good in the world again. The dealer called me the day after they dropped it off to ask if it was working. A nice courtesy call but too little too late and I'm pretty sure they know it. Oh well

Yes, it runs, it was the MLS valve, once installed and 'tuned' it worked. I mowed my field for about an hour then did some other chores with Brush Bull still attached to test hydraulic holding. It held. I let the Brush Bull sit up about 12" off ground over night to see if it would hold and it did, no sagging down.

So, all is good for now. Thanks again everyone for following along & chiming in, I hope you learned something as I sure did. All fluids are good too, and tires are on tight.

thank you all very much !
Erik

What a tale. Nothing beats perseverance.

My experience with Chappell Tractor was excellent. It involved my Kubota but maybe they handle Kioti. If they don't, I'll bet the some of the guys there know which Kioti dealers are the good ones. Ask around.
