Who, then? I would drop my NRA membership in a heartbeat if there was somebody else lobbying successfully for our rights, and sponsoring a replacement for the extensive firearms safety and training which the NRA has developed.

No doubt the intent of this lawsuit is political.
Also no doubt that Wayne and his buddies have been raiding the till for years.
I am an endowment member but I do believe the organization has lost it's way in recent years.
As a gun owner I believe we need a powerful lobby in Washington. But Wayne and his buddies need to be shown the door.
GOA. I switched a couple years ago. WP is a fat cat on your dues of which you have no voice. I've been done with the NRA for a while now.
I just know this thread is heading for a lock....................![]()
I agree. I stopped supporting the NRA because of this crap. I will not be renewing my instructor credentials, nor will I be renewing my membership.
If the NRA refuses to mind it's own house, maybe it's time for an outside force to put it out of it's misery.
It's a shame though, the NRA has outstanding training, education, and competition programs that my go down with Capt. Wayne and his cronies. Maybe the training/competition/education
programs can be spun off and maintained.
I am hopeful though - state level organizations are growing and some are effective.
Although in Va, the biggest state level org - VCDL - jeesh. The leader can't seem to grasp that certain media interviews should not be done and can't seem to understand the traps he is led into.
