Not wanting to admit that I am a fat a@@, but, my 250 pounds overwhelm the springs and at times they bottom out hard. Has anyone replaced the springs with heavier ones or added helper springs? If so, what did you use?

Thanks, Robert.

I read where some people use tennis balls as a bump stop. They might not work on all seats though. :confused3:

I found an older thread, where people used a cut up pool noodle under the seat. I tried it today and was trying to find the original post to thank them.

I'm a touch heavier than you and several small sections of a $2 noodle dramatically improved my ride today.

Until it started raining on me...

Where did you place them? Pictures maybe?
Thanks, Robert.

I cut them about 10 inches. Put them sideways under the seat. I'm closer to 300 than I care to admit and it made a huge difference. I still have the original 30 year old springs. From the picture it looks like one slipped too low and isn't doing anything... IMG_20200812_205255.jpgIMG_20200812_205309.jpg

You could also tightly roll some of that foam and push through the holes so the foam is in the springs.

I'm gonna do that tomorrow. Good idea!
