When I find things on my property, I call the police and give it to them. Then I leave a note in a zip lock back tacked to the tree I found it in telling them where it is (the police station), who has it (the police), and who to call to arrange pickup (the police).

The “Open Fields” doctrine coupled with the WOTUS is something to be concerned about. The concern over WOTUS is being abated by more reasonable EPA administrators now.

These type of reasons is whey WE SHOULD BE GLAD TO SERVE on jury duty. Not a lawyer but the jury I believe is more important than we believe.

I guess I'd better look for cameras the next time I take a leak out there...............nah, I don't care. If I do see a camera, I hope I can get the critter pics off of it.:laughing:

In an emergency, sometimes you just gotta drop-towel where ever you are. I just hope you have a lot of trees around your property.

I've got two "critter cams" myself but if I found one that wasn't mine, it would get reappropriated or just disappear. (We use burn-barrels for dry trash.)

I probably have POed a bunch of folks and.....I guess that痴 the way it goes.

My only point regarding benefits is....we all get them.

I get at least 3, Medicare, SS and a big property tax break because I知 a farmer. Oh yea, sales tax break on certain items. I知 not really a farmer, I have too much respect for farmers, I grew up around dairy farmers.....no days off!

Do you deduct your mortgage interest? That痴 a benefit. Deduct Business expenses, expensive dinners and boondoggle business trips, those are benefits. Anybody on Obama care, benefit. Food .stamps, benefit. Capitol gains tax vs income tax, ask warren buffet if that痴 a benefit. Etc etc

My point is, everyone gets something and pointing fingers is not going to change anything.

Every govt practices social engineering, They choose the winners and losers. We are just so rich our govt can try to 兎ngineer anything. And they do everything so well. Ha!

Now, think of all the govt employees sitting in the over 7 miles of office space in DC, making decisions about how your life should be engineered.

As far as the cameras. I of course would never do this but, a friend suggested that if I find one, take my drone out and just park it in front of the camera. He says eventually the game camera batt will die? Probably need extra drone batts. Stray shotgun blast might be quicker.

Theres no doubt we have lived in a partially socialist country for decades. Anyone who believes otherwise is just kidding themselves. However, we still remain one of the remaining representative republics and have the most hope of actually reversing some of the oppressive programs by changing administrations

Been following this thread for awhile;
Hidden cameras on private property is wrong period I don't give a dam- what any court or administrative ruling says.
Attaching any equipment on private property is it gets found it belongs to the property owner.
Trespassing is trespassing I don't care if it is an individual or law enforcement or Fish and Game,
with Game Wardens being given unlimited search permissions without a warrant I have always said that was totally improper and unconstitutional.
It is also an over used and abused so called authority, it is why you used to see Game Wardens on Police no knock raids.
As far as wildlife belonging to the state or feds that sure changes in a hurry when it cases damage to your private property, it's not their fault.

As far as poaching I have a lot different viewpoint then some I guess, if the individual is using the meat to feed a family I don't get real concerned about it.
If it's the property owner harvesting some of what has been eating or otherwise reducing the value of his property, I am not going to worry about it.
Slob hunters, road shooters and any other so called sportsmen that do not utilize what they have shot except for vermin and varmints need to be hung.

Over reaching bureaucrats and government employees are as bad for this county as politicians without term limits.
And also SS is not a benefit from the government the thieves took it from me for that program for many years and now are just dribbling it back to me a little bit at a time,
and I'll never see the full value of what they took.
Any tax write offs or exceptions are also not government assistance they are just reductions in what they are stealing from you to give to someone else.

To get back on track, if I locate a camera on my property that was placed without my permission it becomes mine,
I may keep or destroy it, it will be my decision on my property. The destruction could be preformed with an 06 from 200 yards, identity that.

During the previous administration, I was banned from farming a piece of land that was wet for a few months of the year citing the WOTUS nonsense. It was farmed for centuries prior to that and now happily, being farmed again.
