I'm over it now, but I suffered terribly a month or so back. Worst part is, you never know what is effecting one. I think, oh good, I can breathe, and five minutes later, for no apparent reason, I cant'. I think MUCH of it is in my head!

Funny, back a month or so ago, I was wearing a mask to cut grass and found it necessary to tell a neighbor that it WASN'T for the Covid Boogeyman. Lest I ever got confused for one of the sheep!

FYI...every time you exhale through a mask you are exhaling moisture droplets...just huff on a piece of glass if you don't believe me...

Although I believe more what the real scientists say than what is said by a casual observer, I decided to try out your very unscientific test for myself to see how accurate or inaccurate you might be.

For this "scientific experiment", I went into my 70 degree bathroom, a room where the humidity is usually the highest, put my mouth exactly 3 inches from the mirror and huffed. The mirror fogged up in an area about 6 inches in diameter. Then I put on my kn95 mask and proceeded to do the exact same thing. Guess what? The mirror did not fog up at all, completely disproving your statement that masks do not help prevent aerosol disbursement.

Not the greatest scientific experiment in the world but one that proves you are wrong about your facts and makes it much easier for me to believe the real scientists instead of those who just make up their own facts.

When breathing out through a "non-purge valve" fitted N95 mask, most of the "leakage " takes plase at the edges. that is, the interface between mask and wearer. That is why, people who sport significant facial hair can NOT BE PROPERLY FITTED for N95 PPE.

Please, Don't be an idiot scientist.

I love numbers like these!

You know the average longevity for an American male is about 69 years.
The average age of mortality for this CCP flu is a bit over 80 years. I'm thinking I might try to catch this Wuhan pneumonia and increase my odds.

I've been wearing my mask when mowing the lawn lately because it's so dry, and, there's also something messing with my allergies. It sure makes a difference with my nose afterwards.

I have been wearing a mask while mowing for about 5 years now.

But not due to xenophobia?

Strangers coming to do you harm.....

Isn't it strange how an unknown foe can wreck havoc even greater than a grain of dust or a speck of pollen.

In 1896, Sir William Osler1 said, “Humanity has but three great enemies: fever, famine, and war; of these by far the greatest, by far the most terrible, is fever.”

I like that! I’ll use it on my hardheaded buddy the next time he starts grumbling about masks.

This being a tractor forum, let’s see a show of hands from those that are willing to bypass or eliminate the various filters on their tractor for a few hundred hours. That would really show up the experts who designed the engines, transmissions, etc. what do they know.

This may be the best reply so far in favor of wearing a mask on a tractor forum.
