I often quote this statement as well. That why I "DO" research on airborne transport of COVID-19. How about you, or others?
Nope. My field is electronics and telecom. I am mostly in the "teaching" category now.

Those that can, do.
Those that can't do, teach.
Those that can't teach, consult.
I always heard number 3 would be politics (or sales)![]()
I would like to know of a living sole that would have been able to handle it better.
Maybe just some guy that doesn't even know what day it is.
I don't envy anyone that finds themselves in that position. It's a no win situation.

MickeyDBC literally JUST explained it to you in the post above yours; seemed like that was what you were responding to, but the cognitive dissonance here is just astounding. The president could have used the defense production act in FEBRUARY to make masks for all americans, and told us to wear them, and modeled this cautious behavoir himself. He could have advocated for proper, extended state shutdowns until case rates were truly declining, trusting the science to guide us. Instead, he simply lied daily, denied it was actually a problem, and then bullied states into reopening on the false and idiotic premise that the economy would magically rebound and thus improve his reelection chances. Of course now he probably doesn't even want covid to go away, since he can dismantle the USPS and discourage voting to help his chances. Hes an evil moron that has handled this pandemic about as poorly as anyone possibly could. "it is what it is"
