Hi All,
I have acquired an older 5' Modern 3 pt shredder that I want to convert for use as a light duty brush cutter on my skid steer. My problem is finding the right hydraulic motor to use.
My skid steer is a New Holland L190 (early model). The specifications say that the Hydraulic flow on the aux circuit is 21.9 GPM at a pressure of 2500psi.
I would like to find a Geroler motor that would turn at 540rpm or slightly higher, and produce close to 30 HP. Ideally it will have a 6 spline output shaft like the one on my tractor. I would prefer something that won't require a case drain as I don't have provisions for one on my loader.
I have talked with the tech support group at Surplus Center. They say that they don't have one that will work because the 21.9gpm flow on my loader is higher than any motor they have available.
Any suggestions or recommendations will be appreciated!
Thanks,
Tim McMurray
