I've found that as I get older and uglier it's even easier to flaunt my stupidity. Example (from yesterday):

Me: "Where's my Gatorade? I just had it .. thought I set it down on the bench. .. In the golf cart?"

Gary: "You're holding it."

btw, I took an online IQ test. It said "20 minutes time limit" so I set a timer. I was done in ~8:20 and it said my IQ was 127. I want to think if I'd taken the whole 20 min I still have scored at least 90. Taking my word for that is at worst a forgivably honest mistake.

IMO, "stupid" is never more than someone's opinion, and that's how I get away with playing "That's just me."

It's nice to know that within the last couple of years, apparently I'm a more safer driver than you according to ovrszd's opinion on his own driving record. Do I actually believe that? No I do not.

My wife has never had ANY ticket violations in her entire life other than one accident where the LEO even told her the other driver had to be speeding. I do joke with her that I've never totaled a car where it was determined I was at fault .

1 mile over the speed limit is a fishing expedition unless it was a school zone.

In my defense, I looked down at the speedometer when I saw the school sign, and I took it to litterally 25. Learned my lesson, down to 20 now. Since I had a loaded revolver in the car and had a rental vehicle with another states plates, with an East Cost drivers license, the only thing I could do was make small conversation and claim ignorance on not knowing all 6 chambers were illegal to be loaded since the gun wasn't in plain sight (I mean, why would you load a gun with an empty chamber?).

Learned my lesson, know ALL state gun laws inside and out. That said, as mentioned, it was a great learning experience talking to someone who lived there as a young LEO. He was kind of amazed that I would just be out there myself checking everything out because I loved the state's geology.

Look at the University parties going on at the start of this month. Univeristy has a massive outbreak of COV19, University now sends all kids home for online learning, and they still have to pay the full tuition.

50k a year to learn online????
