My B7800 is twelve years old and I'm twelve years older. Looking for a more comfortable seat that's not too hard on this old back.

The information and photos much appreciated. Looking for plug and play mounting but that doesn't look like it's ever going to happen. Still, searching the suggestions you made turned up some really nice seats I hadn't seen before. I ordered the Milsco V7300 from Northern Hydraulics. From the looks and description I can make it fit if I have to. Thanks for the help.

If you still have the factory seat it's terrible. They came out with a much more comfortable seat later which is much better. They were supposed to be a free dealer replacement if you got them within the first year or something like that but my dealer never heard of it and made no effort. They wanted nearly $400 for the new style while Messicks had them for,I believe $50 for a while. I was late for that too but they still sold me one for less than half of what the local dealer wanted.

Any pic of this new seat? I was given a replacement seat a long time ago but it still is awkward for me since I'm pretty tall. Mine really looks like a factory seat.

I don't have any pics here and the tractor is up at our other place. In appearance it looks very similar to the original but the rear of the seat cushion is lower and ,I think, wider and the back is tilted back on the bottom. This keeps you from sliding forward like the original seat. I'm not sure about how it will work for a taller guy as I'm only 5'10' but I let a buddy use it a little and he is over 6' and said it was plenty comfortable.

There was quite a bit of talk about it back around 2006 or '07 if you search back that far. there were pics too.

I have the factory replacement seat and it's identical to the original seat but as Jim Nelson says it's more tilted towards towards the rear. With the original it only took a short time for my knees to start hammering the dash due to sliding forward in the seat.
