Yanmar 1610D
Hello...I just purchased a 1610D with FEL (Stock I believe). The bucket hydraulic ram seals need to be replaced as the bucket begins to lower when static instead of maintaining its position. The local shop needs the seal replacement kit information...any thoughts? I haven't received my parts / owners manuals yet from Hoye, but I need to get this repaired ASAP. Any assistance is appreciated!

Unfortunately, the manuals will not cover the loader itself because that is an add-on. Does the loader have any brand/model decals on it at all? If so, you might be able to contact the loader manufacturer or dealer for them. If not, we have always just taken the cylinders in to the hydraulic shop and they just matched up the seals there & rebuilt them.

Interesting. I don't think I have ever seen that brand before. Looks like a Japanese aftermarket loader manufacturer. Sort of like the Japanese version of Koyker or something.

They might be able to help but probably just easier to have a local hydraulic shop match the seals up.

Thanks Aaron! Appreciate it...

More questions to come...:)

A couple of questions.
Is the cylinder leaking oil to the exterior?
Does the fluid bypass cause any issue while using the loader?
Not saying that you do not wish to rebuild the cylinder, just clarify as to the urgency of the rebuild.
Also I always like to rebuild cylinders that work in pairs at the same time. This way you reduce the potential for one side performing differently than the other under a load.

Neither cylinder is leaking to the exterior and the loader itself works fine, just the bucket issue...

Again not saying to not rebuild the cylinder, but if it is just seeping past the the internal seal when not running, you have time to try to find information about the loader and the cylinders.
As Aaron said, a good hydraulic shop should have no problems taking measurements of the cylinder components and matching up the seals and all needed to rebuild it. The only issue I could see would be if they used the cheap not rebuildable cylinders. It should be easy to figure out as the end at the rod will not be removable. If that is the case, plan to replace the cylinder. Measure the rod length, rod diameter, overall length extended and retracted, and cylinder diameter and the pin size of the ends (diameter) and length of the ends. Then start looking for replacements.
