Tractor
Kioti DK50SE w/ loader and Woods 90x backhoe, Allis Chalmers C with front snowplow
Thinking about possibly upgrading tractors what would you all think a fair price would be for a DK50SE Hydro,400 hrs, loader, open station, with Woods BH90x subframe backhoe?

Ask your dealer. That'll get you into the ball park, cheap seats, but you'll get some place to start with. Looking on a more national level could mislead as to what your local market supports.

Might consider breaking out the backhoe. I know that I have no use for a backhoe (I rent excavators for all my digging activities). Many people might be the same way in which case the overall asking price may seem bloated. I'd think about taking a slight loss on the backhoe, sell it separately, and make it up by getting a more full/top dollar price on the tractor.

Is it a pre-Tier 4? If it is it may fetch more than what you initially bought it for.

Other than that, even at 400hrs (barely broken in :)) you should be able to get close to what you payed for it.

If you do not have a need for 70HP or a cab, keep the tractor you have. Even Kioti does not make the like that anymore.

Id be upgrading to a utility tractor, heavier, manual tranny likely 50-65 hp no cab. This is a good machine but it don't pull like a heavier unit.

I don't think I'd separate the backhoe, then I'd have to sell it to someone with a model they can still get the subframe for, who knows which ones are still made in production for out of production tractors, or else I'd have to take the subframe off my tractor and hope I can still find the frame components that were removed. It's really more of a want than a need, if I do it I'll just wait for the right buyer. I'm leaning a different direction now, which may actually lead to selling the backhoe and buying a full size backhoe and keeping my tractor for 3 point work after loading the tires and switching to r1s at some point
