Yeah, I don't either. Left of center is always more responsible for whatever might go wrong. If you're turning left, you're looking in front for oncoming traffic, not in your mirror for somebody on the wrong side of the road.

That would be my thinking also, but legally it may not be true.

It's awful in the city too and lately much worse...

Shelter in place was a green light for lawlessness...

Not a day goes by without being passed like somone just robbed a bank or totally blowing through stoplights...

Always nice, often expensive, new cars with young drivers...

This morning one crashed a black Audi into a street tree and last Wednesday a brand new Dodge Hellcat blew past me and when swerved back did several 360 and just missed utility pole...

Hah, too funny I had an incident today. I was transporting a 6 star Tedder from one field to another with my Kubota M126X. I have to run about 1 mile on a typical divided 4 lane highway. I was in right lane, doing 24MPH. Rotary beacon on, 4 ways on, Tedder blinking lights on, SMV emblems. This clown in a Tesla passes me, not in the left (passing) lane, but on the shoulder of the highway.
This douche bag also honked and flipped me the universal friendship sign. All Im trying to do is make a living, following every safety protocol I know of.
City people.....cant stand em. They move into my area to get away from people like themselves and end up causing trouble, raising taxes with their walking trail pet projects and generally making asses of themselves trying to show all us country people “how to live”.

F-em.

Dam Kubota's won't go fast enough, I have the same issue with mine...... Told the wife I need to trade in a couple of my Kubota's on a JCB Fastrak. Then I can step out at 47 mph instead of 24 at rated RPM. Besides, the Fastrak's have suspension, front and rear and front and rear PTO's and 3ph's. Roads up here generally suck.

I'm surprised you didn't 'introduce' him to the pucker bush.My tedder has not left the barn all year. Not enough precip to worry about flipping anything.

That could be the key. Acute cabin fever resulting in total brain drain.

I think one big problem nobody wants to address is how big tractors have gotten back when it was decided tractors could use the road with little consequence what was the size of most tractors? Now you have machines 14’ wide driving down roads meant for under 8’6” foot wide loads.

I live in farming country here in Eastern NC and we have big tractors on the road quite a bit, lots of signs saying be careful of agricultural equipment, etc
but still there are serious accidents. I think this is mostly due to inattentiveness/distraction and plain impatience. How about Share The Road with the
folks who feed you? Two recent accidents were both rearenders, one on a guy mowing roadsides and one on a guy just transporting to another field.
How oblivious can one be to run into the back of a giant red tractor?
One reason if I was on the road at all every single light on my tractor was lit up plus magnetic rotating beacon and flashers.
And I sure wore my seatbelt.

Had 2 different Fastraks. Very high maintenance. Not really a tractor. Theyre a truck with PTOs and 3PT hitches. They have a front & rear differential and a suspension like a military truck. Mine would do 45MPH. Very handy, but lots to break, repair and maintain. Cummins diesels were awesome.
I now have a road speed Massey that does 34MPH. Fast enough for me....

Ashame “shelter in place” couldnt be a green light for fix up your home, car, financial situation, do things with your family, etc. It has to be a “green light for lawlessness”. :confused3:
When I do have to venture into Philadelphia, there are roving gangs of Dodge Chargers with Hellcat motors racing all over the place. Seems to be the new fad replacing the 4 wheeler Yamaha fad.

Made the evening news in Europe when an Austrian Farmer paid for and received a Autobahn sticker for his Style of Fendt tractor...

He was pulled over but the officer could not find a violation...

Most all tractors require a license plate and farm name/address... there is an exemption for the very slow... like 1O kmh which is about 6 mph...

Also slow moving equipment has the slow triangle but with max speed on it too.
