Can someone confirm the size of the turf tire wheel ? The turfs use a 15x10 wheel (pn 6688857), if you look up the part number it states it has 6 x 5.5 (139.7mm) 6 lug BC with a 5" pilot hole, but nowhere can I verify the backset, which in one thread I found was 4 inches, but would love to confirm so I can buy some aftermarket rims that look a little better than the orange dogs that cost 200 each.. Thanks in advance !

The center hole is about 4.125" and the mounting surface of the wheel is in the center of the wheel using a pull tape to straight edge. The studs are 1/2".

Ruffdog, I didn't realize you had turfs, I tried to enlarge your icon, but I can't see it. Wow the center hole is only 4.125" ? So weird, when you look up the part number it claims it's 4.5 ". Does it sit tight on the hub ? A lot of the wheels I'm finding are 4.25 center hole, the 15x10 is an easy find, just have to figure out what the backset is, if the mounting surface is dead center of a 10 inch wheel, what is that as far as backset, I always hated backset, offset etc. it's annoying and confusing !!

It does not seem to be hub centered as there is a gap between the wheel center hole and hub. I always wonder where they are measuring to when they say "backspacing". Do they go from the flat flange area (5 3/16") or do they add the lip (about a extra 1/4")? That is why I measure for the offset.....how much the wheel is offset from center. Note: the toolcats that have turfs have much larger fender flares to cover the bigger tires.

But they have a 4-1/2" backset, which is only a 1/8th of an inch more than what you calculated ? Meaning they would sit 1/8" more in than stock, would that really matter ? Now if the stock wheel really is zero offset, then that means a -25 offset would sit in an inch more than stock, that could potentially be a problem, so something is wrong with these calculations ? Look at this chart it shows a 10 inch wheel with 0 offset has a 5-1/2" backset. It's also showing me if we use your 4-7/16" backset it would be -25 offset, so I'm totally confused now !?!?

Your chart says a 5.5" backspace is a zero offset. My measurement was 5-3/16" to the flat flange and a ~1/4" extra for the lip which is about 5-7/16"....very close.

Oh **** I thought you said 4-1/2" ? My bad ! So I need a 5-1/2" backspace ? So if I used 4-1/2" the wheel would be 1" further out from a stock wheel, do you think it would matter ?

So Ruffdog, how would a wheel with 4-1/2" backspace work on your ride, which, as opposed to the stock wheel you have 5-1/2" the tire, if I'm thinking correctly, would be out one inch more from the chassis, would it hit anything, cause any issues etc. ??
