A few old Internet health care tips...:

Q: I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life. Is this true?
A: Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it. Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up your heart will not make you live longer; that's like saying you can extend the life of your car by driving it faster. Want to live longer? Take a nap.

Q: Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables?
A: You must grasp logistical efficiencies. What does a cow eat? Hay and corn. And what are these? Vegetables. So a steak is nothing more than an efficient mechanism of delivering vegetables to your system. Need grain? Eat chicken. Beef is also a good source of field grass (green leafy vegetable). And a pork chop can give you 100% of your recommended daily allowance of vegetable slop.

Q: Is beer or wine bad for me?
A: Look, it goes to the earlier point about fruits and vegetables. As we all know, scientists divide everything in the world into three categories: animal, mineral, and vegetable. We all know that beer and wine are not animal, and they are not on the periodic table of elements, so that only leaves one thing, right? My advice: Have a burger and a beer and enjoy your liquid vegetables.

Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you?
A: You're not listening. Foods are fried these days in vegetable oil. In fact, they're permeated in it. How could getting more vegetables be bad for you?

Q: What's the secret to healthy eating?
A: Thicker gravy.

I looked all over for a "like" button, but couldn't find one....

And all of this time I've thought that I needed to eat more granola to be healthy.

A new restaurant opened in town...it's called Karma...there's no menu you just get what you deserve...!
Along that line: "Fair and Just are not the same. Being fair is everyone getting the same thing, just is everyone getting what they deserve." Unknown

No one ever promised life would be fair... sometimes I wonder if it is just.

Why do people rely on and distribute misinformation?

A recently quoted ruling about not needing a driver's license was rendered in 1930, long before the proliferation of vehicles we see today.

A recently quoted ruling about not needing a driver's license was rendered in 1930, long before the proliferation of vehicles we see today.

There was no intent to disseminate misinformation...the point was made in the cited quote (which clearly states "automobiles") and really had nothing to do with the parsed text in the supplied link...don't jump to conclusions...where did anyone actually "quote" a ruling about licenses??

FYI...posting a link is not the same as quoting something...

Just out of curiousity I googled the username of a TBN member from the other side of the world. Encyclopedia Britannica supplied a detailed definition of "Wagtail", and it's the first time in years that I've heard of this continent referred to as "The New World." At least it didn't refer to us as "The colonies. "

On one hand I think they should ban all new or replacement residential construction in CA.

On the other hand, I'd prefer they contain and not let the CAnuts spread out across the country.
