I am about to pull the trigger on a blue diamond 66" light duty root grapple .

amarsh64 .. thanks for asking.
Mine is an 84" HD .. and has proved to be bullet proof over the last 10 years. My neighbor has the same grapple he uses on his tracked skid steer. I use this grapple to push over dead trees and to push out cedars. It's not .. been treated gently. The NH is 100 HP and can lift 5000 lbs.
Our second grapple .. for the 55 HP LS XR4155HC .. is an Everything Attachments 73" HD grapple. I selected it for its 42" jaw opening. The primary use is picking up piles of brush or trimmed tree limbs.
I have no info on the lighter BD grapples so .. I'd recommend that you give Everything Attachments grapples a look as well.
What tractor do you have and what is your expected use for a grapple? Make sure .. that whatever grapple you decide on .. has protection, at the rear, to keep anything coming thru the grapple and penetrating your radiator, etc.

My rotary cutting tractor had a severe limp,
SO, I had to take one of it's shoes in to get the thorns out, 50 bucks later, all is good.
Looks like the next trip will include some
so I have one of those loaded up, too.
