Well.............. I told myself no for so long. I ended up buying another tractor. And didn’t pay cash this time.

Too many project piling up etc. I needed another loader tractor.

But the good news is I’ll have this one paid off quick and only have the one payment so all extra money goes into the tractor.

Tractor came with a 7ft bush hog, 7ft rear blade, bucket and pallet forks. I advertised bush hogging just in my area and already (a day later) have 2 small bush hogging jobs lined up. And my own pastures need bush hogged. I’m also offering minor land clearing, driveway maintenance etc. TONs of gravel driveways in my area riddled with pot holes lol. I have a buddy with a small dump trailer if I have to haul a few tons of stone.

I kept my 78in EA Box Blade which is rated 30-70hp, so I have a good box blade to use.

I do feel bad about backsliding into debt. But I bought a more capable tractor which is also very simple, no bells and whistles like the JD 4320 had. IMG_6609.JPG

Now that is a nice looking tractor that should meet your needs well.

Thanks, I have about an hour seat time so far but really happy with it. I have a more stable tractor, more capable tractor and it rides much smoother because of the bigger tires.

The ride on this Mahindra is smoother than the air ride seat JD, I think because the smaller tires were susceptible to holes and bumps.

I paid less for this 2017 Mahindra with almost $2700 (used price) in attachments than I sold my JD for because what JD is charging for a new one and the previous owner of the Mahindra really wanted a RV lol. This tractor has like 220 hours, the Deere had 950 hours when I sold it. I always said if I bought another tractor, I would want open station and more capacity on the loader. That’s what I bought

The Deere weighed 5300lbs with the cab and loader, the Mahindra is 7900lbs with no cab and a loader, everything is beefier and thicker.

I also really like the balls in the 3pt arms have Cat 1 holes and Cat ll holes, so I can buy either attachment going forward. SSQA on FEL vs JDQA. JDQA wasn’t a big deal if I’m honest, I didn’t have a hard time finding attachments and it was simple to hook up.

No DPF filter on the Mahindra so no emissions to worry about. The Mahindra feels like a capable farm tractor where the 4320 felt like a over grown garden tractor that was at max capacity a lot. The 4320 served me well the 2 years I owned it though. Hopefully the Mahindra is as reliable.

Good find on a nice tractor! That machine isn’t depreciating every time you turn the key like a car and look at that debt as leveraging your buying power.

Enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Its time to get the JD stuff off of your profile!

;)

I do need to clean that profile up a bit. My current line up is: John Blue G-1000, 1929 John Deere GP, 1960 Massey Ferguson 98 & 2017 Mahindra 5555. I mow with Husqvarna GT52XLSi.

Just don't let someone "internet shame" you into selling again. Get it paid off and hold on to it.

Well I sold the tractor on my own accord because I needed the equity to pay off other debts to get debt free. I saved 5k plus in interest vs making payments at the rate I was going.

All that is cleaned up, I’m ahead financially and was debt free. So this time all my income is funneled into the tractor instead of 10 different directions. Any money I make goes back into the tractor.

I don’t plan to sell this one. I plan to have it paid off in two years or less.

If your going to start doing work on anyone's property, you should highly highly look into commercial insurance.

Could pay for it for years and not need it. But remember, if someone or something gets hurt/damaged, you could be back to selling everything including your house to pay for the damages

Liability is reason enough to decline as is the additional overhead from employees.
