New Branson 3620H

Been there, done that to address the BH open loop system. A big improvement for certain since it gets rid of the extra hoses that gets in the way.

As shown in the image, the lever became a “key” and does not stay on the valve to prevent bumping it out of position. I had the hoses custom made and made a bracket using the existing hardware fittings for the two rear remote spools.

Aquamoose, Did you start with the RMK2-02 kit? Could I get you to post more pictures on your mods? Oh, and which ports are input and output? I'm still not sure where to tap into.

I don’t know what the RMK2-02 kit is. I sourced all the pieces myself to make this mod for the backhoe connection. The valve assemble is a simple “H” with the valve in between to allow bypass to mss as obtain the loop. I didn’t need to pay attention as to which is the input & output because I took notes on which hose from the BH is going to preserve the original flow design. Mark one side of the port and the backhoe side of the hose it’s connected to with tape, sharpie, etc and near the end of the build when putting the hydraulic fitting on, ensure it’s on the same side.

Some more pics...

Note that the valve & fittings have ORB connections. It’s the only type of fitting that permits you to position the orientation of the T fittings when tightened.

In case you’re wondering, the top link never gets in the way even though it may appear to be.

Thanks for the pic's. The RMK2-02 is the kit Branson offers to add the rear valve assy's and levers. I see yours were already there.

If you’re referring to the rear remotes, then those were installed as an option by the dealer at my request. It just mentioned “2 rear remotes” on the invoice at the time of purchase.

Did you try to run the BH on one of those remotes? I understand one of them has the detent that will hold it open. Was there not enough flow? or?

No, it came with this factory open loop setup. My 2 rear remotes don’t have any detents.

My 15 series has two remotes, one spring to center and one with detent. Interesting that yours doesn't have detent.

Good job on the mod! Very clean installation.
