2001 JD 5310 w/ 542 FEL
I have a 2001 5310 JD 2wd with a 542 FEL with bucket. Previous owner said he put water in rear tires. Any idea of what it weighs?

Couldn't figure out how to post a picture.

What type of rear tires? R1/ag? R4/industrial?

What rear tire size?

69 gallons, weighs 575 lbs.

Post pics by clicking on "advanced reply" and notice where you can click the "manage attachments" box, then you can add files, browse for them, and upload them.

It is pretty unusual for a 2-WD tractor not to have "loaded" rear tires for traction purposes.

Today, very, very few tractors under 5,000 pounds bare weight are sold without 4-WD.

In 5,000 pound tractors the exception are "haying" tractors which operate on level fields, usually without an FEL, powering hay balers. A limited volume category but a category not ignored by tractor manufacturers.

Jeff, is that weight per tire or for both? I apologize, but this is technically my first tractor and I was just curious If I were to be able to haul it with an 4x4 F-150.

I see the 殿dvanced option but not anything for manage attachment. No worries. I will read up in one of the help categories.

Thanks everybody for the replies so far.

No apologies needed here, TBN here to help.

That is per wheel (575 lbs for 69 gal of water).

I see the 殿dvanced option but not anything for manage attachment.

Click "Go Advanced"

Scroll down to the box (window) that has "Manage Attachments" and click that box.

You will then have a pop up window with the File Upload Manager.

Maybe trying this on a smart phone and others will chime in...

I had the tractor put on scales. It was 7,600 lbs. with the harrow it will be around 8,800.

I had a 5310. Hauled it many times with a hyro-slide instead of the harrow. Not sure of the weight but much more than the harrow. Hauled it with a 2wd Tundra. No problems.
