Did you think that up on one of your road raging drives into town the other day?

Yeah my aux cable went bad so I wasn't able to listen to my audiobooks. I can come up with some pretty disruptive faux philosophical arguments when I don't have anything to distract myself from it (or so I tell myself).

This thread is very interesting to say the least...........:D

The underlying reason why Hardley riders ride in groups is because when one invariably breaks down, there are enough others carrying tools to fix the broken one.............:D

Maybe, maybe not but no bike is as cool....

Back in the 80's I used to drag race my Yamaha RD400 at a local strip. It was bracket racing. I'd dial in an 11:90 and run 11:92-11:95 consistently, day in and day out. On the street, that little bike was a terror. :D I gave it up when we had kids. Too many close calls with cars on the street, even when driving within the confines of the law.

Wife and I drove up to northern Michigan last week. About 3-4 hours into it, and 3-4 hours after drinking a large glass of milk and a 20 oz pop along the way, I realized that all McDonalds restrooms are closed, as they are drive-through only. So are all of the other fast food places. We found a Walmart. Whew!

Not certain about in your area, but we have these things called gas stations, and generally they have a restroom in them:D Actually I used one last night when I took the one boy for some driving.

I was road-racing an RD-350 in the very early 80's. It was fast, but it shed parts like crazy and I changed a lot of pistons right there at the track. Went on to TZ's, and have owned several RD400's. I have a 1989 RD350 (Canadian-spec RZ) in my barn right now.

I'd kill for a Kenny Roberts edition....

Are the side cars that a few have, to carry the parts?

Totally a personal opinion........... My opinion of Hardley's is an overpriced, under powered conglomeration of parts sourced worldwide and false labeled 'Made in USA', when it should say 'Assembled in USA from mostly foreign content'.

Not cool for me and the bulk of them are obnoxiously loud. Guess you go the loud route when you ride a slug. It's a potato bike... When it idles it goes ...potato-potato-potato-potato.... and so on. Rev it up and it immediately blows out eardrums. Not my idea of a pleasant to own / ride bike.

Bet you can tell I hold them in high regard????

I knew there was a reason for them... Parts toters...

I'm one to talk. I own a Triumph Bonneville with a hack myself. I actually own 2 Triumph's and a Norton and a Kawolski KLR. None of which I ride frequently simply because of all the idiots on the road today. I ought to sell them all and acquire a safer hobby like playing with matches and gasoline.
